The
Corona Police Department will generally process and release arrestees on bond
between the hours of 8:00 AM
and 2:00 AM, seven days a week. This means that
calls for assistance that may come later in the evening must be addressed with
a special sense of urgency if we are to release someone “the easy way”…
What do I mean by “the easy way”? Well, the staff at the Corona Police Department – including the field officers, booking officers, administrators and records department – are not only some of the most decent, courteous people that we have ever worked with, but they are also extremely efficient. These folks in Corona do their jobs so well that it usually only takes an hour or two from start to finish to have someone bailed out of the Corona jail. That is fast!
So they are fast, friendly and efficient in Corona. But there is another issue that must be considered: transfer to the Riverside County Jail. Or, put differently, the AVOIDANCE of transfer to the Riverside County Jail!
